EXPECTATIONS:

  Attendance:  Students are expected to attend all lectures and laboratories.   Some material covered in    lecture will not be found in the text.   Laboratory participation is mandatory in order to   take laboratory quizzes.   If you miss more than 2 lectures and/or laboratories, you     may wish to consider dropping the class.   Late arrivals to lecture are disruptive. If  class has begun when you open the door, please do not enter. Please turn off cell phones and   pagers during class. You may not bring   food, beverages, or children to class. You may not leave the   room and return during lecture. If you converse during lecture you will be asked to leave. Students with disabilities who need special accommodation to participate in this class please see me to discuss your needs.

Tests:   All tests (except final) and quizzes are taken in your regular laboratory sections and must be completed on the scheduled date. Only in emergency circumstances will exceptions be made. Exams may be curved to a maximum of 10 pts. Exam curves are not added to make-up exams. You may not leave the test room during an examination. You may NOT leave the room during examination.   In accordance with the colleges   Academic Honesty Policy,   any student who cheats or plagiarizes will fail the class. Accurate spelling is an integral part of this course.   Excessive misspelling   will result in loss of credit. You may not take a lab quiz on a laboratory you did not attend.   A lab quiz will not be included in your grade unless you attend the entire lab.

Evaluation: Lecture examinations and laboratory quizzes will be given in laboratory.  

                                Excessive misspellings will result in loss of credit.
