EXPECTATIONS:
ATTENDANCE: Students are expected to attend all lectures and laboratories in this class. Some material covered in the lecture will not be found in the text. Laboratory is your chance for a "hands on" experience which cannot be duplicated by reading the text or laboratory manual. If you miss more than 2 lectures and/or laboratories, you may be and pagers during class. You may not bring food, beverages, or children to class. If you converse during lecture you will be asked to leave. You may not leave the lecture hall and return during class. Students with disabilities who need special accommodations to participate fully in the class, please see me to discuss your needs.
EVALUATION: Both lecture (except final) and laboratory examinations will be given in laboratory. All tests are to be taken on the scheduled date. Essay format make-up exams may be given in emergency circumstances (one per semester). You may NOT leave the room during an examination. Accurate spelling is an integral part of this course. Excessive misspelling will result in loss of credit. Exams may be curved to a maximum of 10 points. In accordance with the colleges Academic Honesty Policy, any student who cheats or plagiarizes will fail the class.
