A byte is a computer term representing a sequence of 8 bits of information (enough to represent one character of alphanumeric data) processed as a single unit of information. This presentation describes the goals, operation, progress and products of the Information Technology Committee, a 16-member participatory governance committee that establishes AVC information technology policies and guidelines. Discussion of recent achievements will include the “AVC Computer Use and Electronic Mail Guidelines” and the “Web Page Development Procedures.” Presenter: Connie Moise
