SERIAL KILLERS - FACTS AND FICTION

Many of the most notorious serial killers have achieved a kind of celebrity status. Ted Bundy, Geoffrey Dahmer, John Wayne Gacy, and Jack the Ripper have all been the subjects of films, while the details of the case of California’s Zodiac have inspired movies such as Dirty Harry and The Exorcist III. This presentation will examine the facts of these cases and the motivation and psychology of these killers and compare them to their on-screen counterparts. For the cases that remain unsolved, the theories concerning the most likely suspects will also be explored. Presenter: John Toth
