This follow-on to last years road trip will explore some of Rosamonds historical and scenic sites. A guide from the local historical society will discuss areas such as Willow Springs and other pioneer sites. Willow Springs had been an important source of water in the desert for hundreds of years. For this reason, it was an important early settlement. Mining has also been historically important to the development of this area. Please plan to do a little hiking through the Rosamond Hills. Coordinator: Dr. David Newman
Participation is limited and advance sign-up is required.
