ERRORS, ERRORS, EVERYWHERE…ESPECIALLY IN E.S.L.!

For those who teach ESL and other “pre-transfer” courses, handling student errors can be an ongoing battle. In ESL courses student errors are common in all of the skill areas (listening, speaking, reading, writing, culture, vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar). Knowing why errors occur, which errors to treat, and how to treat them is the focus of this presentation.
